Toca Hair Salon by Toca Boca AB lets your kids run their own hair salon.

In this app you are the manager of your own salon, treating patrons to cuts, clips, curls, and colors. This kid friendly app introduces you to the world of hair dressing and all the fun that goes along with it.

Let your (or your child's) imagination unfold on one of six different characters as you wash, cut, and style their hair. You can choose to use the scissors or electric trimmer to cut your character's hair before you color it with any of 12 available colors. Afterward you can dry their hair and style it however you please.

The app uses the basic swipe gestures to manipulate the various tools making interaction super simple. The app is aimed at younger children and the graphics are very cartoon-ish. The characters make funny faces and cute sounds as you work away at their hair which adds to the entertainment value for the kids.

Toca Hair Salon was updated to Version 1.2.3 on February 25, 2013 and included minor changes and improvements. There have been 245 ratings for this app with an average score of 4.5 out of five.

Toca Hair Salon is a fun, interactive, and exciting. Your child will have hours of fun styling and coloring each of the six characters' hair. I especially liked the G.R.O formula which magically restores the characters hair back to original length.
