Cut the Rope by Chillingo Ltd is a fantastic physics puzzle game for your iOS device. It’s been downloaded 250 million times by people all over the world and if you don’t have it, you’re missing out!

The game’s premise is pretty simple: you open the door to a box on your front step. In the box is Om Nom, a lovable little monster who loves to eat candy. It’s your job to feed him. You’ll have to cut the ropes holding each candy so that it goes into his mouth. Don’t miss!

In addition to feeding your monster his candy, your other goal is to collect as many gold stars as possible. More casual players don’t have to collect any stars; just get the candy in Om Nom’s mouth.

This award-winning game has new levels you can unlock, and hidden prizes. In fact, there are a total of 14 boxes with 350 levels for you to play.

Players will learn about motion, physics, and gravity in addition to how the application of force works on an object. You’ll also have blowers, spikes, balloons, and other devices to apply force to the candy as you go.

The difficulty increases the farther along you go.

Developers constantly send out free updates with new animations and levels.

Cut the Rope was updated to Version 2.2.1 on February 16, 2013. The update made some bug fixes. The app is available in 11 languages. This version has 1620 customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Customer feedback comments are all positive.

I love this game, my four year old daughter loves this game, and my husband loves this game. I’ve played it in several forms since getting my first iOS device years ago, and I can’t imagine ever buying a new iPhone or iPad without downloading it and buying every new version.
