User Experience
It's hard to find apps that allow you to send messages that stay private and quite frankly, who wants their video messages going public for all to see? You'll need to set up an account to start using the app and after that you can visit the help screens to walk you through the functions and features.

Using the app is simple, quick, and convenient, and within no time you’ll be an expert on sending your private video messages.

 

Features
This app has plenty of intriguing features including being able to record the video message from within the app. It's very simple, there is only one button you need to press and the recording will begin. You can watch the timer so you know how much longer you have left. All videos are encrypted when shared and it won't be saved to your recipient's device.

Additional features include being able to reply to video messages with another video or text, send unlimited private messages, and receive messages for free. ZipBack lets you look back at text or video messages, save messages on the Cloud, invite your friends and family and earn free minutes, and go ahead and send videos longer than 30 seconds with Free Messaging Minutes.

 

In-App Purchases
This app offers the ability to purchase Message Minutes in a couple of different package options.

 

Update Info
In the latest version of the app, 1.2.9, there have been some improvements made. You can now see who hasn't and who has watched your messages, and there were enhancements made when sending messages on very poor quality networks.

While I liked that you could send unlimited messages for free, a 30-second video doesn’t let you say much. Chances are you’ll want to purchase the message minutes, which can get pretty pricey. As well, you will find the app to be lacking a bit in the features department. It is very basic feeling. The good news is that the app itself is very easy to use; filming your video could not be quicker or easier.
