As I have come to expect from NOAA Radar weather apps, World Weather Radar Free provides some great forecasting for locations all over the world. You can actually save an unlimited number of locations and the Doppler Radar delivers extensive coverage of countless locations across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific.

The standard radar view shows an animated forecast across your chosen timeframe so you can see the movement patterns of cloud cover, wind speed, and so on.

On the other hand, if you prefer more of a quick at-a-glance view of your weather forecasts, you can tap the Forecast tab at the bottom to see a standard-view report which displays information like the temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, and an overview for the coming several hours.

 

 

I like the way you can see the weather at varying levels of detail, and you can even adjust what is displayed on the radar map by toggling features on and off, adjusting the resolution level, and even choosing between standard, satellite, and hybrid map views.

The level of customizability, detail, and accuracy in World Weather Radar Free makes it a very worth weather forecasting app and I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking to get their hands on a decent weather resource.

Here Comes the Sun

This is a very feature-rich, well-rounded weather forecasting app with loads of detail and a decent amount of customization options.

The only thing missing is integration with social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter; it would be a great addition to be able to share maps, forecasts, and hurricane alerts with friends and family online, and I think that if we see this added in the next update it could really set World Weather Radar Free apart from a lot of similar apps.

Is this the best weather app in the App Store? Probably not, but it definitely does its job well and provides everything that the vast majority of people will want from a weather forecast.
