Relativity Binders app review: an app that delivers easy access to documents to lawyers

Introduction

Relativity Binders by kCura Corporation is an app made for lawyers and attorneys with a Relativity login to proivde easy access to all the e-discovery documents. The app allows them to download and organize these files for any case preparation whenever you need them. The app can be made to sync with Relativity, a platform where many law firms store all their important documents for easy online retrieval.

Without a Relativity log in, this app regrettably remains limited to a demonstration of use.

What Types of Documents Does It Support?

First of all, I am not an attorney, and I do not have a Relativity account, so won’t be able to use this app in its intended way. What I can say is that the app loads fast and is really easy to use. In the tutorial, I have seen all kinds of files come by, like PDF, Excel, and Word files as well as emails. It’s really easy to read, highlight, annotate, search, and even print and email documents straight from the app.

All kinds of coding information for each of the documents is available as well, which will tell you which other documents to which it will refer. 

 

Offline Access and Backup Systems

Relativity Binders makes it easy for you to access all your documents. You can download any of your files for offline use. Documents with highlights or annotations are automatically organized in customizable lists and you can easily organize and arrange the files to make you tell a story of your case. The app also backs up any of the work you do on the go to the Relativity server, making you never lose any work you do on the road!

Because of Relativity’s secure service, your files will always be protected behind your password, and you will never have to worry that anyone else will have access to your files.

Relativity Binders is a great tool for any lawyer. Using this app will grant you access to your Relativity account anywhere. With all the supported files and different editing options, I think this app would be even better if it didn’t use the Relativity log-in, as I think this app could easily be used in many other fields of work as well. Anyone who uses PDF files or Microsoft Office files on a regular bases would love to have an app like Relativity Binders. Taking into account the app is only compatible with iPad, and takes just over 32 MB, I can recommend this app to any attorney. Hopefully in the future this app will be more accessible for everyone else.
