Reviews

Introduction

One of the greatest ways to branch out when it comes to your cooking is to find recipes from outside sources. The Recipe Cloud app can be used on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone and acts as a social cookbook that provides you with a whole new experience. Now you can use this app and connect through Facebook to discover what your family and friends are cooking and check out what others in the network are making. It’s a wonderful way to become inspired, learn about different cuisines, and really sample some fantastic dishes.

Expand your Selection

Usually people have a collection of go-to recipes that they are familiar with, are easy to make, and never seem to fail. The problem is that these can get pretty boring after a while and sometimes you need to spice things up a bit. The Recipe Cloud app gives users a chance to check out what others are cooking giving you ideas, inspirations, and of course some great new dishes to enjoy. Just log in through Facebook to see what your friends are cooking and use the app to find featured users whose dishes you can view in detail. Of course the app is able to do a whole lot more as well.

The app requires iOS 7.0 or later to use and has just gone through a number of bug fixes giving users a more stable performance. Users have given it four out of five stars as a clear message that the app is certainly useful.

A Full-Featured Offering

This app is much more than just a way to find recipes you can also save your own recipes by adding them, you can save recipes from websites, and of course check out recipes from around the world. You can share your own recipes as well by marking them as public or keep them private if you'd rather not share. The app comes in handy as a meal planner and you can also create your grocery list right within the app. As you scroll through the recipes you're able to add ingredients to the Reminders app (for your grocery list), add to the Meal Planner, or add to a Folder. It's all been streamlined and integrated so the user experience is smooth.

I think the user interface is a really big bonus in this app as it is incredibly smooth, easy-to-navigate, and it feels professional. You end up feeling like a real chef as you scroll through all the data in here.
