With each lecture you have the option to stream or save it to your iDevice for offline viewing. The video and audio quality is fantastic, with no buffering issues or audio drift. If you miss something on the first viewing simply review it at your leisure so you can better grasp every lesson and concept. All Coursera lessons are available in 12 languages including English, Mandarin, French, Spanish and Russian. So regardless of where you are in the world, or what your native language is, you have the opportunity to take the course you've always wanted to take.
Language Barriers
I prescreened many of the lessons in different categories on Coursera, and the majority of them worked great. However, in a few of the courses streamed from other countries, the sub-title option did not work at all. So if you're looking to learn Biomechanics from the Peking University and don't speak Mandarin, you may have a difficult time understanding the finer points of the lessons as the only parts included in English are the included PowerPoint presentation.
