You can say what you want about Lance Armstrong, but he did put the sport of cycling on the map in the United States. This app by Tour Tracker LLC has completely mapped the USA Cycling Pro Championships Tour and has added all the details about every race, women or men, road and time trail, straight into this app. The app is designed for both iPad and iPhone.

At the moment, the app offers insight on all the different races that happened last weekend in Chattanooga. Since this app is designed for the longer haul, future races will also be covered, but haven’t been added to the app yet. The app offers all kinds of cool features, such as live video streaming, a live view where you will be able to see all the detailed states these races will have to offer, and last but not least a fully interactive GPS map that will be able to pinpoint the exact location of all the riders in the tour. Of course there is also detailed course information and classifications and standings available.

As you might have guessed, this app is available for completely free, but is there a catch? I have looked long and hard for this, but there really isn’t one. The only thing I can comment on is that the USA Cycling Pro Championships Tour is sponsored by Volkswagen and on every page of the app (except in the App Icon) the Volkswagen logo is visible. If you find this a problem, I suggest you don’t use this app as there is no way to get rid of this, but at least the app is completely free.
