iMuscle Home app review: everything you need to plan and track your fitness program

Reviews

Introduction

Muscling its way into the Health & Fitness category of the App Store is this awesome iPad app which provides you with you need to plan and track your fitness program while at the same time helping you to learn a little bit about human anatomy in the process.

The best fitness apps for the iPhone

If there’s one thing that really bugs me it’s when people unwittingly misapply exercise or certain approaches to exercise, and I really think that learning a little about the body as you go is a fantastic way of ensuring you quickly surpass some of the more common rookie mistakes.

Of course, this app does also serve as a pretty hardy fitness tracker and workout creator so one way or the other I can really see iMuscle Home being of great benefit to anyone who is looking to get into better shape.

Get Fit and Learn In the Process

iMuscle Home is a great app that combines anatomical education with workouts and fitness tracking features to really bring something new to the table. You may or may not be interested in the educational side of this app, but even if you’re not I would still recommend considering it.

Best iphone and ipad apps

There are 15 preset workouts for you to choose from plus a whole bank of exercises that you can use to compile your own sessions. This is done very easily by simply dragging and dropping the exercises you’d like to incorporate into your workout.

Share Your Progress Online

As you progress you can view detailed statistics of your performance on a workout-by-workout basis or for each individual exercise, so you’ll never be short of metrics to help gauge exactly how you’re getting on.

What’s more, you’ll be pleased to know that as you get further into your program you can share your progress with your friends and family online via Facebook, Twitter, and email; perfect for bragging about your newfound fitness lifestyle!
