Wood Camera by Bright Mango is a vintage photo editor that has the potential to turn any photograph into an amazing, vintage-looking piece of art.

You can import all your photos into the app and view them all. Tap each one once to see it full-size, or double-click to navigate to the editing screen.

You can use the app and shoot photos directly using one of its 32 lenses. You can layer the lenses, the app’s 28 different textures, and 16 frames for literally thousands of possible custom combinations for each photo. You can adjust the saturation, huge, contrast, and brightness as well as straighten and sharpen.

The app gives you the ability to use gestures to control linear tilt-shift; pinch to customize the position and intensity.

Once you’ve gotten your photo edits the way you want them, you can tap and hold the image to see how your edited version compares to the original shot. Any time you want to make changes, you can; even after you’ve exported the image.

You can share to Instagram, Dropbox, Twitter, Flickr, or Facebook directly from the app, or save to your Camera Roll and share it from there to SMS, email, or any other social networking platform.

Wood Camera was updated to Version 2.0 on December 21, 2012. The update added lenses, textures, and frames, and improved social sharing. The new version has a total of 53 customer ratings with an average of four out of five stars.

I really enjoy photo editing apps and Wood Camera is no exception. I love the variety of different lenses and frames, and the fact that you can go back in and edit after you’ve exported your image. So many other photo editing apps don’t allow you to do that.
