Reviews

Introduction

If you think you’ve got the gusto to challenge your friends to dares and make good on them yourself, this is a truly hilarious app which has you posting “dare photos” to an online community, exposing yourself in all manner of precarious situations. This app is not for the faint of heart!

The best apps for combining photos on your iPhone

While this is definitely not the kind of app that I can imagine myself using on a regular basis, I’ve been getting a few cheap laughs out of watching the people on here making great big fools of themselves!

If you fancy yourself as being quite the boisterous individual then I think you’re going to have a great deal of fun with this app, so I would definitely recommend taking it for a spin to see what you think.

Have You Got the Guts?

When you first start using DareShare: Daring Photographs of Silly, Embarrassing and Awkward Moments, you’ll be prompted to begin by creating a user account. This can be achieved by using your Facebook account, so don’t worry as this only takes a couple of seconds.

Once you’re all signed up, it’s time to start embarrassing yourself! You’ll immediately be taken to the Play section where you can view some of the Dares to get a feel for what other users are doing. This is ideal for getting some inspiration or deciding if you actually want to go through with a particular dare!

If you find a dare photo that leaves a lasting impression on you, be sure to vote it up or down, or even leave a comment expressing your reverence…or disgust! You’ll be pleased to know that you can also share content with your friends and family online via Facebook, Twitter, and email.

Can You Make it Into the Trending Section?

If your photos get voted up enough, they might even make it into the Trending section, where you’ll be amongst the greats of DareShare, eternally recognized for your silliness.

Expanding further on the social networking elements of this app, the developer has also included the option for you to add friends by following or being followed, very much in a similar vein to the way in which Twitter works.

If you visit the Friends section you’ll be able to see all of your buddies’ most recent posts in a typical news feed format, so this is a great way of staying up to date with the latest dares. Those of you who can’t help but indulge in a little one-upmanship will have a field day with this!
