Mutant Roadkill App Review

mutant roadkillMutant Roadkill Rank: #76 on the Top 100 Free iPad Apps List as of July 28th For: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPad “Race through an apocalyptic wasteland overrun with mutants and other hazards,” and “Blast your way through city ruins as you try to escape a world overrun with danger.” With a description like this from Glu Games Inc. title Mutant Roadkill, how can anyone resist? Mutant Roadkill from Glu Games starts off with an intense scene of a car in midair landing in, what looks to be, a broken and beat-up city. This is where the game starts. Users are then thrown into the backseat of a car to take on mutants as the name of this game implies. Points are scored in singles and in combos as you hit each mutant with your car. After enough combos/points are achieved, power-ups are achieved which can smooth out the gameplay. For example, a turret power-up enables you to shoot down nearby mutants without having to smash into them. Amongst the chaos of ramming into mutants are obstacles that you must avoid. Once the car has accumulated enough damage from impacts with the obstacles, the game is over and your score is displayed with the option to play again to achieve a higher score. To heighten the excitement, the game is accompanied by a rock style melody as the user progresses. This makes for an intense gaming experience that will encourage you to keep advancing.Mutant Roadkill App Review Mutant Roadkill is best played on a graphics-intensive iOS device such as the new iPad and the iPhone 4S. Users will still be able to play on older devices but may experience dropped frame rates or general lag. The retina display on the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and the new iPad make for an intense visual experience as well. Overall, Mutant Roadkill is a wonderful game addition to any mobile gaming lovers collection. There's action, rock music, mutants, speed, and constant danger; sounds like a gamer's paradise.
