HeartDecide by ORCA MD is a medical app that teaches you all kinds of interesting information about the heart.

This app will work to teach you about anatomy of the heart, best practices, and conditions. You can even find information about solutions to conditions and the app can help you find a specialist.

The app is laid out in four separate sections, which are Find a Specialist, Solutions, Conditions, and Anatomy, to make navigation extremely easy.

Each condition is clearly described and features medical images and annotations. You'll also be able to see what each condition looks like, the findings, and symptoms. Based on the best practices out there, there will be a list of treatments.

You can use the search tools to find information on all kinds of conditions and even solutions. When your results are displayed used the sort function to filter based on language, insurance, and specialty.

Some of the medical conditions you'll find information on include angina, coronary artery disease, heart failure, rheumatic heart disease, and intra-aortic balloon pumps.

If you're using the app to find a specialist you'll be given the doctor's name, location (address), telephone number, and what they specialize in. You’ll even be able to see a picture of the specialist.

HeartDecide was updated on Jan. 16, 2013 and currently has 17 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

I liked that this app could be helpful for so many different people. If you have a heart condition you'll find information, but even students and doctors could find the content in the app helpful.
