Introduction

AltaMail by EuroSmartz Ltd is an advanced email app for those people for whom the built-in iOS email app is insufficient.

AltaMail is more flexible, offers you more control, more functionality and is a more comprehensive email organiser app. You can bulk move, delete, print, or save email across multiple accounts at the same time. You can open up a contact file and look at all of the email communications you’ve had with that person.

You can also save emails into custom offline folders, attach multiple images and files to your emails, bulk mark your emails as unread/read, and perform an advanced search using any combo of words or fields across all of your email accounts. Another great feature is the ability to zip or unzip received attachments directly on your iOS device.

More Information

When it comes to push notifications, there are tons of cool options: you can set sounds for people or accounts; set general notification schedules or set them for each account; suspend notifications; skip notifications for certain emails or senders; and link to calendar events for quiet time so your meetings aren’t interrupted.

You get built-in document storage, too. Other features include the ability to: save emails and attachments as files, to use multiple email signatures, transfer saved email to and from your desktop or laptop, and use the built-in multi-language spell checker. If you buy the in-app purchase you can print to PDF, too.

This is a great iPad and iPhone email app that will let you do tons more than any built-in app on your iOS device.

AltaMail was updated to Version 3.1 on November 1, 2012. The update added a ton of features. The current version has 19 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars.
