PodCruncher by Obsessive Coders, Inc. is a podcast player and manager for podcast.
This is a full-featured podcast app that allows you to download and stream the episodes you want to watch or listen to, manage your subscriptions, find new audio and video podcasts to love, and create playlists.
The app works over 3G or WiFi and has no size limit for streaming or downloading. If you have a limited data plan, you can set your options to minimize your 3G usage.
You can import your subscriptions from your Music app, which makes it super easy and fast to set up.
The app offers a super-fast feed refresh, hands-free control for when you’re working out or driving, dedicated buttons for your previous or next episode, sleep timer, and several different playback speeds. You also get the option to watch or listen in landscape or portrait modes. You can control it using your headset or car hands-free buttons, tap the “>>” button to skip forward 30 seconds, or hold it to fast forward.
Other features of the app include AirPlay support for audio and video and the ability to play episodes in a sequence when you use auto-advance.
PodCruncher was updated to Version 2.1 on December 5, 2012. This version has five customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars.
I really liked that I could totally manage my subscriptions, find new and interesting podcasts to download, and that I could easily import all my subscriptions using my Music app when I first downloaded this app.
