FINR Brain Atlas by Florida Institute for Neurologic Rehabilitation, Inc. shows you the brain anatomy and common injuries.

Your brain is one of the most important and complex parts of your body and everything you are is contained within. Serious damage to your brain can have lifelong effects and injuries don’t necessarily come from external trauma.

FINR Brain Atlas catalogs the various types of injuries and their effects on the brain.

There are numerous types of injuries that can occur such as: aneurysm, hypoxic encephalopathy, cerebral contusion, and more. You can navigate the various sections of the brain by swiping the screen to rotate and pinching to zoom in or out. Tap on an area of the brain to access more information about that particular section.

Displayed in the text boxes for each section are descriptions about normal function and the various structures contained in the highlighted section. Some words are underlined and you can click on them to go to the information contained within the hyperlink.

FINR Brain Atlas was released as Version 1.0 on March 18, 2011 and has received 33 ratings with an average score of 4.5 out of five stars.

I found this anatomy app to be very detailed and informative. There is a lot of information on the brain and it is all jammed into this app with a great interface that is easy to navigate.
