Swipe by ChirpMe Inc gives you a fun and fabulous way to meet new friends and then chat with them.

Now you can broaden your circle of friends without even having to leave the house. The app works by anonymously finding people who live close to you and who like you. If you end up liking them back, Swipe will connect you both so you can chat.

Say goodbye to spam and all the other annoying messages you get from people who you have no interest in connecting with. This app makes sure only the people you like are getting through to you. If you swipe to the right you will "Like" them or if you'd rather you can swipe to the left and "Pass" on them.

What's great is that other users will never know you have liked them unless they actually like you back, so there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Nothing ever gets posted to Facebook either.

The app gives you the ability to chat right within if you share a mutual like. In its latest update there is now better matching logic, which works to your advantage finding you even more people close to you. As well it underwent updates to its user-interface and bug fixes so the app is a smoother, faster, and just easier to use.

Swipe was updated on May 8, 2013 and currently has 89 customer ratings with an average rating of three and a half out of five stars.

I really liked the premise of Swipe, where you only connect with those you have a mutual like with; however, its list of features is pretty sparse.
