Ultraviolet ~ UV Index by Robocat is great for people who are sensitive to sunlight or who have children and want to make sure they aren’t exposed to UV rays for too long. It was updated on August 7, 2011 and requires 19.4MB of storage space.

Color-coded UV Index readings and forecasts will provide you with the information you need, and each reading comes with its own set of precautionary measures to help you minimize the risk even further.

This app provides all the information you could ever need to find out what the UV Index is in your local area or from anywhere in the world, with a forecast for tomorrow’s UV Index and all of the information presented in an animated and color-coded fashion for easy reading.

Ultraviolet ~ UV Index also includes forecasts for midday the following day so you can always stay prepared and be one day ahead. To get the current UV Index or a forecast for your current location, you can use Auto Locate when the app first starts up or alternatively you can simply search for your location manually.

Furthermore, this app includes useful hints and tips on how you can protect yourself and your family from UV rays, as well as which precautionary measure are most suitable for a given UV Index reading.
