If you consider yourself somewhat of a Christmas expert when it comes to trivia then it's time to put those skills to the test. The Impossible Test CHRISTMAS iPhone Christmas app is the holiday-themed version of the popular The Impossible Test app.
The original Christmas app now has more than 20,000,000 downloads so you know the developer is on to something. This is the fifth installment in the series and is just as challenging and fun as the others.
Keep reading our The Impossible Test CHRISTMAS app review to see if this is one of the best Christmas apps for iPhone and iPad.
The app supports the Game Center, Leaderboards, and Achievements giving you that extra challenge. There are four modes of play here all of which feature fabulous graphics and sounds that will keep you entertained.
It should be noted that the latest update took a look at all kinds of issues so if you've played this game in the past and not been impressed supposedly the experience is different. The latest customer ratings have been quite positive.
One of the things that seem to annoy users the most was the fact that there was an incredible amount of pop-ups. There are still ads in the app but they are supposedly not as plentiful or annoying.
This app is free to download but there are plenty of in-app purchases available that range in price from $0.99 to $19.99.
Playing the Game
I have to say I went into this app hoping for good things, after all the latest update promised all kinds of improvements. I was supremely disappointed.
The app crashes, the sounds cut in and out, the content is slow to load, and the pop-up ads are constant and interfere with game play. I could barely get a screenshot because of all the crashes and ads.
The games themselves are completely confusing. There are no instructions and I have no clue what is going on half the time. I have to say I’m surprised this app even got a passing grade at all as I am completely disappointed in all aspects of it.
If I had to find some positives I guess it would be that the theme is well thought out and executed. It definitely has that Christmas angle happening for it and the developer stays true to the theme throughout from the graphics to the music.
