I'm Sorry I Can't Hear You

Like most people my age who spent a lot of their time at live shows and playing in bands I have mild tinnitus. Which, if you don't know, is a constant ringing in the ears due to sound damage.

There's nothing I can do about it now except monitor it, and by using the Decibel 10th app I have all the benefits of a professional quality sound meter on my iPhone.

Decibel 10th provides everything a novice or experienced user could want from a sound meter. By utilizing both a digital and analog layout you will know the Average, Peak and Max values of any sound in any space. Regardless if you are indoors or out, rest assured Decibel 10th will provide you with the proper readings.

If you are a bit puzzled to what the readings mean, the top of your screen includes quick reference text that will compare the sound level you are experiencing to a real life example. Allowing any user to reap the benefits of this app.

Professionals Need Customization

Decibel 10th includes many customization options for any sound professional. You can adjust the sample rate from 4Hz to 20Hz, and calibrate the measurements from -10dB to 10dB. This way you can get the exact readings you need to provide the perfect audio balance.

You can even record and export the data and email it for further analysis if you are under a severe time constraint. I'm sure many of you are wondering why you didn't know about Decibel 10th before, don't worry I am asking myself the same thing.
