You can create ringtones of up to 40 seconds but notification sounds for message alerts such as SMS, iMessage, and push notifications can also be created if the ringtone is kept within the limit of six seconds.

This app is fairly easy to figure out. You can either use the music on your phone or access unlimited Unlimited Cloud Music through this app for $1.99. All the popular audio formats such as mp3, m4a, and .wav are supported by the software.

 

Upon choosing the song you'd like to set as your ringtone, you will be taken to the editing screen where you can segment the track. Whether you want just the chorus of a song or a rocking guitar solo, you can fine-tune the starting point of your ringtone down to one-tenth of a second by tapping the plus and minus keys.

Sounds A Bit Too Easy...

By following the instructions, I was able to create the ringtone of my choice, but I was then prompted to sync my iPhone with iTunes. By going to “App” and then selecting the song through the iTunes software, adding it to the media library and re-syncing my iPhone with iTunes, I was finally able to set that file as my default ringtone.

 

This app displays far too many annoying ads, though they can be blocked by going Pro for a one-time payment of $1.99. The Pro upgrade also unlocks additional features and supports future app updates from Mobile17.
