Music Studio Lite app review: a complete music production environment for your mobile device 2021

Reviews

Introduction

If you’re looking for a low-cost music production environment for your iPhone and iPad then look no further than this very cool virtual recording studio app which features a rather impressive range of features to help you truly unlock your musical potential.

The best studio recording apps for iPhone

As far as a free music recording app goes, this is almost certainly the best that I’ve had the pleasure of viewing this year, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the overall clarity of the audio quality, not to mention the lack of latency when recording.

The developer does offer a paid version of Music Studio app for iPhone which offers more features like a larger keyboard; however, I would recommend taking this free version for a spin first because I think you’ll be very happy with what it can do. Check out our Music Studio Lite app review for more details.

Move and Resize Tracks With Ease

Having used a handful of different music production apps, I know that it isn’t always easy to find one that has a user-friendly interface, largely because gesture-based controls just don’t work as well as a good old mouse and keyboard, at least in my opinion.

Best iphone and ipad apps

Music Studio Lite is definitely step in the right direction in that regard as it makes it fairly easy for you to move tracks around on the sequencer, and resize them as you see fit. AudioCopy and AudioPaste are also supported, so this tends to make life a little easier as well.

Enjoy a Wide Range of Hardware Support

As I mentioned in the introduction, this app offers some pretty decent audio quality, and you can add tracks to the mix by either importing them from your iTunes Music Library, using the in-built instruments, or simply using a microphone.

Alternatively, you’ll be pleased to know that Music Studio Lite offers support for loads of music hardware types, including iRig, iRig Mic, Line 6 Mobile In, Apogee Jam, Blue Mikey, Alesis IO Dock, and quite a few more.

Final Words

Music Studio Lite is a very nicely developed iPhone and iPad app that should make recording musicians very excited indeed. I would very strongly recommend downloading this app, especially if you have the privilege of using the larger display of an iPad.
