The Planet of Cubes blockbuilding app can be played on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone and gives players an incredibly immersive experience with features such as Time to Live or TTL and an endless amount of possibilities.
For those who are unfamiliar with what an MMO game is the definition is that it's a massively multi-player online game so you can expect a huge amount of players.
Keep reading our Planet of Cubes app review to learn more about this good blockbuilding app for iPhone.
In this game there is one giant planet that is made up entirely of cubes and this one single planet is the one shared by all the players. That means even the player on the other side of the globe is playing on this same planet. So what will you find on this planet?
You will find all kinds of incredible things like cities, lost ships, military bases, ancient ruins, castles, and plenty more. There is an unlimited amount of players and an unlimited amount of places to explore and discover.
Keep in mind you'll need to have an Internet connection to play it (3G or WiFi) and there is no subscription fee. As well there is no need to host a server or set one up.
Playing the Game
This game lets you get really creative and you can even select your own skin. There are more than 20 to choose from. Keep in mind the first time you login you'll be given a random skin. In multi-player mode there is a hand built-in chat which adds to the fun of the game.
Launch the game to start the fun. First things first: you need to choose a name and a skin. From here you will enter the Planet of Cubes. I find the content to be a bit slow to load but this is to be expected really when you’re dealing with this much information.
You'll notice on the screen there is a compass and your coordinates this is so that you actually make progress through the world and don't just run in circles.
If there are any players near you, you'll be able to chat with them. All the changes you make have their own lifetime (Time to Live) and you can find this amount of time also on the display screen.
