The Shopper Lite shopper app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad provides you with a way to create shopping lists for such stores as Home Depot, Costco, and Walmart. Not only can you make this list for some of the most popular stores but you can do so quickly and easily.
This handy shopper app also features coupons, and recipe ideas. It’s more like having a personal iPhone app for shopping with you wherever you go. Check out our Shopper Lite app review for more details.
The Shopper Lite app can help you save money on your shopping thanks to the coupons you can find through it, the recipe ideas with ingredients you may have on hand or are cost-effective, and the fact you are going in the store with a list to stick to so there should be no surprises at the cash register.
This app is free to download however there are a couple of in-app purchases available. These range in price from $0.99 to $1.99. You can also purchase a one-year Gold Membership that starts at $11.99 per year.
Unfortunately despite all this one has going for it the app gets just 2.5 out of five stars from users. There seems to just be a lot of little issues and bugs affecting it that all add up and make for a frustrating user experience.
How to Make a List
The whole goal of the Shopping Lite app is to give users a quick way to make a shopping list so even if they are out and about they can be adding to it. You can also sync your list with others which is a great way to share lists between family members.
As far as the coupons go you'll find some of the top brands represented, you can store recipes and search for ones on the web, and you can even scan the barcode of items to automatically add them to your list.
I like the nutrition ratings that are linked to barcodes to some products, this is a really nice feature to offer so you can make choices based on your nutritional needs/wants.
I think if this app could just get its stability under control and address the crashes completely this could be an excellent offering.
