Typic by Hi Mom S.A.S. is a fantastic photo editing app.

There are tons of photo editing apps in the iTunes store, but many of them don’t live up to the hype. Typic is not one of those. It offers you the ability to add text, filers, and borders to images.

When you launch the app, you can either take a photo from within the app or choose one from your Camera Roll to edit. Then you get to choose the filter you want to apply, if any, and then add text. Finally, you can alter the text and then choose the opacity. You can also apply a border if you like.

There are five filter options from which to choose: none, JMS, Vanilla, Children, Saturn, and Black and White. You get seven font choices. When you click on “Caption” you can input the text, then use the “+” and “-“ keys to adjust the size of the font. Drag the caption to wherever you want. Text is available in either black or white. You can also spend $0.99 on an in-app Fonts Pack purchase that will give you seven more font styles.

When you’re happy with the image, you can save it to your iOS, email it, or post to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.Typic app review
