Who says you can't pick your family? When it comes to your furry family members you most certainly can pick the one best suited to you. The Guide to Dog Breeds app can be used on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone and is a great place to start if you're thinking of adopting a dog. Even if you already have a dog it’s a fun way to read up on your pet's breed and get an idea of what makes her/him tick.
Whether you have very little knowledge of various dog breeds or you think you're fluent in a number of different ones, the Guide to Dog Breeds can be educational and really fun to read. This app is loaded with content as more than 400 dog breeds are discussed. You'll be able to see a photo of each breed then read about its history, its color, hair length, and so much more. Photos can all be viewed in full screen so you get a really good look at the breed being discussed. The app is universal so you purchase it once and you can enjoy it on all your devices and if you are using it on the iPad it supports landscape and portrait mode.
The app was updated just a couple of months ago with some small bug fixes and text updates and is a useful app for pet owners. The app has four out of five stars and even though users are generally quite happy with it some are calling for more content to be added.
