Floaty Plane is a reaction game for iPhone that definitely fits the bill. This is one of the most addictive little games I’ve come across in a long time. This is a free app and it’s compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and the iPod touch.

Floaty Planes is simple and it’s fun. It’s the simplicity that really got me hooked on this one. It doesn’t require any explanation: you just tap and go.

There’s nothing complicated about it, you just have to keep your plane afloat as long as you can. I didn’t find a whole lot I didn’t like. The game worked very smoothly, and it ran without any glitches every time.

The only minor annoyance was the occasional pop up ad, but these were infrequent. The app will require 4.4 MB of free space on your device.

How to Play

Get ready to play right away with this one. When you open the app just tap on the green play button, and start flying after a brief instruction screen that illustrates how the game works.

Basically, all you do is tap right and left to control the plane while maneuvering around brick walls that are constantly appearing in your way. The plane continues to fly from the top to the bottom of the screen until you fail to steer your plane around the obstacles successfully. It’s simple and it’s fun.

The game will only keep track of your high score, so essentially you’re always playing against yourself trying to beat that best score.

You also have the option to share your high score over social media and get your friends addicted to this fun little game as well, and you can rate the game in the app store if you like it as well.

That’s really all there is to this one. I’ve been playing it every night since I discovered! You’ll have a hard time walking away.
