Scored - Sports Scores and Alerts supports NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL teams. Simply select your teams from the four screens for each league, and you’re set! The first screen will give you a summary of your selected teams, and then each team gets its own report screen as well.

The summary screen is marked with a star. You are presented with Today, Yesterday, and Tomorrow. If you click on the lines icon for more options, you can set alerts for Kick-off, end of first quarter, half-time, end of third quarter, and final score for football. For basketball you can set tip-off, 1st, half, 3rd, and final. For baseball the options are start, 3rd, 6th, 8th, and final. Finally for hockey the options are face-off, 1st, 2nd, and final.

Another thing I want to mention is that the app is sensitive to the issues that have arisen surrounding the Washington Redskins with regard to civil rights sensitivity. There is a mode switch to read Washington Redskins or Washington Pro Football.

Editing the list of teams is really easy if you find a new team that you’d like to follow, or if you want to follow your dad’s team for a while. I have my husband’s team in the list so that I can keep track of his team versus my team, and we usually stay pretty neck in neck. I don’t need alerts, but I do like to check the app once and a while for standing.
