Reviews

Introduction

Making decisions on which stocks to purchase can be a daunting task. How do you know which stocks are on the rise and which ones are about to run into some trouble? You can also enlist the help of a professional stock broker but that is going to cost you. A more economical solution is to obtain advice from an app such as Stock Trading Ideas Pro. This iPhone stock market app is available for purchase from the App Store at a cost of $69.99 and it’s also compatible with the  iPad and iPod touch.

Trading in stocks is not for the faint of heart. If you don’t receive the right advice you can lose a lot of money in a hurry so it pays to know what you’re doing or at least have the advice of someone who does. Stock Trading Ideas Pro is a comprehensive app that will help you cover all the bases. It has everything you’ll need to make an informed decision and to keep track of all the major indices.

This app really does have a lot of great tools and information but it’s not for the novice investor. The developers seem to make the assumption that you already have a good grasp of the basics and that you’re tech savvy to boot, because there is no instructions for this app at all. If you’re just getting started you may want to look for a different type of app. It’s also quite expensive at $69.99 so you don’t want to purchase this if you’re not serious about trading, although if you compare that to what it would cost you to hire a professional advisor it’s actually quite reasonable. This app will only require 4 MB of free space on your iOS device.

How it Works

The layout of the app is very user friendly. In the top left corner you’ll notice a menu icon; from here you can access everything in the app. There are three main sections: Trading Ideas, Market Pulse, and Watchlist. You can also access other apps by the same developer within the menu as well as a Fibonacci tutorial. At the top of the menu you’ll notice a search bar as well for quick tracking of a specific stock you’re looking for.

The first main section, Trading Ideas, is an extensive list of trading ideas that the app developers have created from their own expertise; it’s quite an extensive list and you can access news on that particular stock simply by tapping and holding on the stock. Market Pulse is a comprehensive news section with all the latest news on stocks from the most trusted sources. In this section you’ll also see a listing of the current performance of the major stock indices as well as the performance of the US dollar. The last section is your Watchlist and this is where you can add specific stocks that are of interest to you. The app will also provide you with charts of a stock’s performance over the previous year. Everything you need to make informed decisions is available in this app.
