Once you decide on your package simply tap on the button to get started, and you'll then be asked to activate the app from within your settings. To do this you will have to install the apps profile. To reassure you, you'll notice it has a verified check mark next to it indicating that it safe to install.
Once you've activated the app, it will do its work in the background. There really isn't anything else to it so you may think it's not doing anything. But do a quick Google search and find out some sites that are known for tracking activities and try visiting one of them after installing the app. What you'll find is that the site will say server not found. This is because Disconnect is protecting you from accessing a potentially dangerous tracking site. That's it-that's all there is to it.
