The days when we had to create dozens of lists to keep track of everything we had to do in a day are long gone – there is no more need to stick dozens of sticky notes on our refrigerators. Our smart phones allow us to store and retrieve information about appointments and activities in a matter of seconds. The only drawback is that the reminder app that’s native to our iOS devices isn’t the most comprehensive and user-friendly app available.
The best iPhone apps for task managementThird party apps have stepped in to fill the void and Tasktic is one of the best ones you’ll find. It’s an app that brings performance and reliability to your daily tasks and appointment management schedule. This is a free app and it’s compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
To Do and reminder apps are fairly common in the App Store. In fact, there are hundreds of them. With all of this competition, the best developers realize that they have to produce a great product to have any chance of success. The developers of Tasktic have done exactly that. This app is full of powerful features that will make organizing your daily, weekly, and even monthly activities as simple as they possibly can be – no more relying on your memory.
The best iPad apps for task management 2021This app doesn’t reinvent the wheel by any means, it simply does everything better than most other apps in this category. It has a user-friendly interface that’s well laid out, organized, and reacts in a timely manner to your inputs. There are no ads, but there are in-app purchases. The free version of this app allows for unlimited tasks but limits the number of projects that you can save them to. If you want to be able to have access to unlimited saved projects then you’ll have to upgrade to the Pro version. This app will require 9.9 MB of available space on your iOS device.
Learning how to use this app couldn’t be easier. In fact, the first time you run the app you’ll be walked through each feature step-by-step and you can always access this at a later date. If you want a recap, just access the tutorial through the settings function located in the top left corner of the app. You probably won’t need to use this function though because the app is quite simple to use. It took me probably about a minute to learn all of the app’s features and understand them well.
The best calendar apps for iPadThere are essentially four main tools at your disposal and they’re accessed from the menu bar at the bottom of the app. These tools include: today, all tasks, projects and tags, and new task. The first two are pretty obvious, if you want to view only those tasks that you need to accomplish today you would tap on today. If you’d like to view all tasks, no matter which date they’re due on, then you would tap on all tasks.
To add a task, just tap on the new task icon, enter a name for your task, assign a due date if you need one, specify whether it’s high-priority or not, assign any tags that are appropriate, and include any notes you may want to associate with this task. There’s definitely a lot more functionality here than you’ll find in the built in iOS reminder app that comes with your iDevice. Once you’ve created and save the task, it will appear either in your today section, you’re all tasks section, or both depending on the day it’s due. It’s quite a simple app, but it works seamlessly with your device.
Pros
Cons
Tasktic is one of the best reminder apps you’ll find in the App Store. It’s easy to use and highly functional and allows you to quickly toggle between today’s tasks and all the tasks that are on your agenda. If you’re looking for a reminder app with a little more functionality than you get with iOS’s built in reminder app, this is a great choice.
