KodomoCamera app review

KodomoCamera

Price: Free

KodomoCamera by paperboy&co. Inc. is a camera app for kids.

If you have a child who likes to take photos with your iPhone, then you need to check out this app. Any photos taken with the app get saved to the app instead of your Camera Roll. Once your son or daughter is done taking pictures, you can look through the photos and save your favorites to your Camera Roll.

The app comes with default parental controls, which stop your child from being able to erase photos, upload photos to Twitter or Facebook, and even saving photos to your iOS device. If you like, you can turn off the parental controls if you feel they’re unnecessary.

You, on the other hand, can review and save the photos your kid takes, publish ones you like to Twitter, erase ones you don’t want, and save multiples to your Camera Roll in no time at all.

Your son or daughter will like the app’s fun shutter sound and the reward stamp you can add to his or her best shots.

KodomoCamera was released mid-December 2012. It is available in English and Japanese.

I think the developers had a fabulous idea with this app. I love that I can let my daughter take photos and not have access to my Camera Roll. If you’ve ever lost a photo due to little fingers hitting that “Delete” button you’d know exactly how important this app could be to preserve those special memories.
