Lose It! By FitNow is an app designed to help you lose weight.
Lose It! lets you plan out a calorie budget based on your weight loss goals so that you can track your food intake and weight loss progress. It also allows you to enter any exercise you have done so that you can also track the calories you have burned.
Set up your meal schedule and input foods as you eat them at each meal. The comprehensive database of foods and simple interface makes inputting your meals quick and easy. The calories are automatically calculated and a progress bar shows you how you are doing for the current days calorie budget.
The program also has a built in barcode scanner that can use your devices camera to record barcodes and automatically look up the foods you are eating. You can also se tup recipes for more complicated meals. New foods and exercises are saved in your database for quick reference later.
Once you set up a Lose It! account you can share your progress with friends, earn badges for your successes, and share custom recipes, foods, and exercises. You will also get reminders when you forget to log foods and reports on your progress.
Lose It! was updated to version 4.0.2 on January 11, 2013 and now includes the classic Lose It! interface. The current version has 195 ratings with an average of 4.5 stars.
This app is everything I would want in a weight loss helper. Keeping track of my food intake and being able to measure my exercise output make keeping track of my progress quick and simple. The interface is easy to follow and keeps things well organized.
