Price: $1.99

How to Cook Everything for iPhone by Culinate, Inc. is a digital cookbook for your iPhone.

This app is based on the award-winning book: Mark Bittman’s 2000 recipes and recipe variations. This app is packed with great new ideas, techniques, and recipes that are easy to use and fun to make. The recipes are packed with full color images and step-by-step instructions on how to complete each dish. There are even built-in timers that you can use to ensure you get it just right.

All of the ingredients for each recipe are listed on a shopping list that can be taken along with you to the grocery store, or can be printed, along with the recipes for quick reference. All of the recipes are listed in categories such as featured, quick dinners, and favorites, and are searchable making finding the exact recipe you are after quick, simple, and part of the fun.

If you like to plan out big dinner parties then you’ll find the recipe calendar to a most valuable tool. You can plan out meals for certain days and with the Facebook and Twitter integration you can share everything with your friends so they know what, when, and where to be for dinner.

This app was updated to Version 1.9.5 on December 12, 2012 and included support for new devices. How to Cook Everything has seven ratings with an average of five out of five stars.

I am not normally great at planning and cooking meals but this app gives me new inspiration. The recipes are easy to follow, the ingredients are easy to find at the grocery store, and the instructions are so simple to follow that I look like a cooking pro when I’m done.
