Free Graphing Calculator app review

Free Graphing Calculator

Price: Free

Free Graphing Calculator by William Jockusch is a very flexible, powerful calculator.

Calculators are a powerful tool that can generally do much more than add up numbers. Scientific calculations require special functions for certain types of calculations such as arithmetic and exponentiation. Free Graphing Calculator packs them all into a convenient, easy to use app.

Another fantastic function of this app is the graphing capabilities. With this app you can graph up to four equations at the same time. Each graph is labeled for ease of identification and you can drag or pinch to pan or zoom the graph. The calculator is also capable of finding roots and intersections and can graph in polar coordinates or parametric equations.

Also included in the Free Graphing Calculator is a complete unit converter. With a simple tap you can transfer a unit conversion directly to the calculator making completing calculations quick and simple. Another great feature is the constants for scientific calculations such as speed of light, gravity, and many others. Using the constants means you don’t have to look them up or manually key the values into your equations. Simply choose them from the constants list and they are added automatically.

This app was updated to Version 5.3 on February 4, 2013 and included a few new references and some minor bug fixes. Free Graphing calculator has received 274 ratings with an average score of 4.5 out of five stars.

I found this calculator to have about a thousand more functions then I knew what to do with. I honestly don't think there is anything this calculator can't tell you. I would bet you could ask it the very meaning of life, the universe, and everything and it would know that the answer is 42.
