Bing app review

Price: Free

Bing by Microsoft Corporation helps you find everything you're looking for with this powerful search engine tool.

No matter what you're looking for you'll find it's hard to stump Bing. You can even speak what it is you're looking for thanks to the voice-activated search tool.

Features include being able to search for things like airfare prices, flight information, and travel deals while on the road. You can share articles, images, deals, and apps with your friends on Facebook and then they can comment on your search.

You can even find videos to watch from MSN, ABC, Hulu, and YouTube. Search for deals at restaurants and shops nearby, and even get directions through Bing. Perhaps you want to search for movie reviews, ratings, trailers, and what's playing and where. Use Bing to answer these questions for you.

You'll want to check out the Bing Vision to also search through your iPhone's camera, and you can scan barcodes and QR codes. If you use Bing for QR codes you'll be given instant details on the product so you can make an educated decision on whether to purchase it.

Bing was updated on Apr. 30, 2012 and currently has 712 customer ratings with an average rating of three and a half out of five stars.

What I enjoyed about this app was how wide the search parameters were. I really felt like I could type in anything and Bing would be able to provide an answer. I also liked that friends could make comments on my searches.

For: iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 4.0 or later
