TheGrint by Grint LLC lets you track your golf score and handicap electronically.
Golf is a game of serious concentration and tenacious drive. You must be at your best to play well and generate a low score that will make all your golfing buddies envious of your talent. The most important part of the game aside from how you play is how you track your score. TheGrint takes all of the fuss out of scoring by making it simple and paperless.
If you have ever been out on the green and you realize you forgot your score card or your pencil needs to be sharpened then you know the frustration that can induce which in turn throws off your whole game. TheGrint lets you track your golf scores entirely online and requires no pencil. Simply enter your par and strokes for the hole and you’re done.
If you still insist on using paper score cards you can use the camera on your device to take a photo of your final score and send it to Grint LLC and they will automatically upload it for you. This takes all the hard work out of copying your score from paper to digital. If you upgrade to the Pro Version you can also get access to game histories and compare notes with other TheGrint users.
TheGrint was last updated to Version 3.4 on May 2, 2013 and included a new look and faster access to information. There were also some minor bug fixes and various tweaks. There have been 36 ratings for this app with an average score of five out of five stars.
This app makes score tracking easy while out on the green. I enjoyed not having to track down a pencil and hard surface every time I need to write something down.
