User Experience

This isn’t the smoothest-running app in the world and it can freeze up from time to time; however, it does serve its purpose, albeit a little temperamentally.

The interface itself looks great and it’s probably worth downloading this app if only for the savings you can make through the mPerks feature.

Features

You can find the quickest route to your local store, and some Meijer stores even allow you to see specific products marked on a map of the store. Shopping has never been easier!

This app features a vast collection of thousands of recipes which integrate perfectly with your shopping lists to ensure you don’t forget any important ingredients.

With mPerks, you can find digital coupons and redeem them whenever you like by clipping them and saving them for later use. You can review all of the coupons you’ve clipped with mPerks to refresh your memory, and all of the savings will be redeemed when you get to the checkout.

Update Info

Meijer is currently running on Version 1.1.1. The latest update included the addition of support for date ranges on mPerk offers, as well as various minor enhancements and bug fixes.

Customer Ratings and Feedback Comments

Meijer has not yet received enough customer ratings to generate an average score; however, all versions have so far received a total of 76 customer ratings with an average rating of 2.5 out of five stars.

Feedback comments have been very poor, with users commenting that the app is very slow and unstable, and one user remarking that he or she was unable to connect to the in-store WiFi and received only indifference from staff when making further enquiries.

I’m not wholly impressed by this app but I’m not wholly disappointed with it either. The Meijer app is a great way to save time at the supermarket by planning your trip in advance so you don’t find yourself aimlessly wondering around the aisles, picking up things you know you probably shouldn’t.

Yes, this app can be slow, but overall it has worked well for me and the savings you can make with mPerks definitely make this a worthwhile download.
