CamFind app review: search the Internet for information using high-tech image and voice recognition

CamFind - Point, Shoot and Discover by Image Searcher enables you to take a picture with your device’s camera and then be presented with a list of options including Internet search results, similar images, online shopping, price comparisons, film poster and DVD recognition, related places, and sharing via social media sites. As the developer says, this is a great Swiss Army app that is fantastically suited to people with impaired vision or those who have difficulty when it comes to typing, particularly on a small device such as an iPhone or iPod touch.

The latest update included a fix to Facebook integration and various issues arising from GPS being disallowed. The update also included the addition of clear-all confirmation, as well as improvements to shopping results for UK, AR, BR, CO, CR, CL, DO, EC, MX, PA, PE, PT, UY, and VE.

Searching vocally and with images is something that I think will take some getting used to for me but it is very interesting to see the amazing technology that is being incorporated into apps such as this.

I find it quite entertaining seeing just how accurate and reliable CamFind is, and so far it has yet to disappoint me. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone and everyone.

• CamFind appears to be far superior to Google Goggles in terms of its accuracy and the app itself runs perfectly so there is nothing negative to say
