Introduction
Taking star-slinging action to new heights, this fast-paced and action-packed sci-fi game will certainly keep you on your toes as you run endlessly through the corridors of a dark Xenorg satellite and fight to finally rid the universe of the Xenorg scourge once and for all.
The Xenorg home world has fallen but there are still remnants of this galactic threat, so with all manner of power-ups and weapons upgrades, you’ll have to run and run, and then run some more while keeping a nimble trigger finger if you’re going to live to tell the tale!
Don't Stop Shooting!
What I initially thought was an overly simplistic game concept, I’ve actually found to be incredibly addictive and wholly entertaining.
Stardrop Blaster is a simple side-scrolling action game wherein you’ll be constantly running until you inevitably get taken down by the escalating onslaught of enemy attacks.
As you hone your skills and manage to reach further into the dank depths of the Xenorg satellite, you’ll earn coins based on your performance which can be spent on upgrades such as Double Health, Diagonal Spread, Rapid Fire, and even a set of powerful Gravity Bombs.
Of course, with these power-ups you’ll be able to get even further, enabling you to earn even more coins in your next game!
Eradicate the Xenorg Scourge
There are two basic game modes: Classic and Challenge. Classic involves simply running endlessly while you try to trigger combos in order to multiply your score and earn more coins. Challenge mode works a little differently, requiring you to take on more and more enemies as you get further.
Controlling your character is achieved by tilting your iPhone to the left and right, which will either slow you down or speed you up so you can aim your shots correctly and evade enemy attacks.
Seeing as I’ve been playing this game for a while, I’ll let you in on a little secret that I’ve figured out: if you shoot by tapping the screen with your index and middle fingers, you’ll be able to fire off a lot more shots than if you simply use a thumb. Try it and you’ll what a mean! Pew pew pew!

Final Words
Stardrop Blaster, quite simply, is a huge amount of fun, and I would definitely recommend it for some casual gaming to kids and adults of all shapes, sizes, and dispositions!
The graphical style and audio content are both very amusing, and being able to earn coins definitely adds more of a progressive element to the game which I think extends the replay value quite effectively.
